This Wednesday (October 1) will be a Gym Night at the church from 6:30:8:30pm!! Come for an evening of fun in Bakerview's "Multipurpose Centre"..."Multipurpose Centre Night" just doesn't have the same ring to it!

Photo Scavenger Hunt

This Wednesday (Sept 24) is our Photo Scavenger Hunt!! In groups you will be given a list of things to take photos of, usually of your group or an individual in your group in a certain place or situation. Your creativity will bring you victory! (That almost sounds like a fortune cookie!). There will be leaders in each group and cameras will be provided. Meet at 6:30pm at the church. End time is 8:30pm.

The Gleaning Brigade!

Some shots from our time at the Fraser Valley Gleaners on Wednesday night where we prepared peppers to be made into soup!

To the Fraser Valley Gleaners!!

This Wednesday (Sept 17) we will be going to the Fraser Valley Gleaners to serve by helping them prepare surplus fruits and vegetables that have been donated to be dried and made into soup for those in need. It's always a good time!!

We will meet at 6:30pm at the church and be back at 9pm (note the change in end time).

Also, on Friday (Sept 19) is the Annual MCC sale. Those who have signed up for a shift please meet at the Tradex a few minutes before your shift time. Head for the "Sausage on a Bun" stand (ask a volunteer at the entrance if you need help finding it). Also, if you don't want to wear a hair net bring a hat. For FoodSafe regulations we have to have our hair covered. I'll send out an email reminding you of your shift. And if you haven't signed up and want to help just contact Shannon.

What's Happening This Wednesday??

Since you're all back in school here's a little puzzle for you solve. The answer divulges what we are doing this week! We will be meeting at the church from 6:30-8:30pm per norm.

Also, this Saturday is the Fall Fair at Bakerview from 4-7pm so come on out with your whole family and more.

Then next Friday is the Annual MCC Sale!!!! The youth will be serving Sausage on a Bun. On Wednesday we will have a sign up sheet where you can sign up for a shift. The shifts will run from between 4-9 for about an hour and a half each. You can either BBQ sausage or be help serve/sell so think about when you want to sign up for and come ready to do so on Wednesday!

Oh, and if you're still reading...it's a Bible Study on Wednesday. Get it? Bye+Bill Stud+E. Plus some games and singing! See you then! Always feel free to invite friends to our events, too!
