Common Ground

This Wednesday (April 30) is our Common Ground Care Group Night. It will be at the church from 6:30-8:30. See you there!

Bigger & Better

This Wednesday (April 23) we will take the streets for our annual Bigger & Better Night. What might this entail? We will break off into several supervised groups and, starting with a penny, will attempt to trade and acquire something bigger or better with each friendly and polite door to door stop. Meet at the church at 6:30!

No Youth on Wednesday and Shine Retreat on Friday

There is NO Youth this Wednesday (April 16) due to the retreat on the Weekend.

So for those who have registered for the Shine retreat we will be meeting at Bakerview at 6:00pm on Friday, April 18th. We aim to be back at the church around 1:30pm on Sunday afternoon.

Don't forget to bring:
Sleeping bag, pillow, warm clothes, toiletires, towel, swimsuit (if interested in using the hot tub), Bible, and (if you want to buy stuff from the store) extra money.

Parents Meeting

Attention all youth parents! There will be a "Parents Meeting" this Wednesday (April 16th) starting at 7pm at the church. Pastor Michael, Shannon, and Sally Cui (our church board youth liaison) will be there to discuss this interim youth time and looking ahead. Hope to see you there!

Yuck Night!!

This Wednesday (April 9th, 2008) Jr. Youth will be having a "Yuck Night." What might this be you may ask? Well, an array of tantalizing treats some may consider undesirable and games that may result in a touch of mess. So don't come in your tuxes and ballroom gowns but rather something that could get dirty! And don't worry, there will be no forced participation so if this all seems too much for you just come and watch the misfortune of others!

REMINDER: if you are coming on the SHINE retreat make sure you've let Shannon know ASAP, you don't need to get your money in at the same time, just get your name on the list!
